JUMP

With the preparatory period of 3 years and 7 months, the musical JUMP is a non –verbal performance based on Taekwondo, a traditional Korean martial art, JUMP that will make the audience laugh and applaud throughout the show. This performance was given a favorable reception as it earned the top box office award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2005.
Its popularity was also reflected in its tickets sales: In February, tickets for JUMP were sold out almost everyday at the Peacock Theater (1,000 seats). The musical will show advance martial art movements from Taekwondo, acrobatic movements, and Taekkyeon (Korean traditional martial art) along with non-verbal music in a harmonious way.

White Day

White Day
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

White Day (ホワイトデー, howaito dē?, a Japanese pseudo-anglicism[1]; Korean: 화이트데이 Hwaiteudei; Chinese: 白色情人節) is a holiday celebrated on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan celebrate this day.

White Day in Japan

In Japan, Valentine's Day is observed by members of the female gender who present chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to a member of the male gender, as an expression of love. The handmade chocolate is usually preferred by the receiver, because it is a sign that the receiving male is the girl's "only one". On White Day, the converse happens: males who received a "honmei-choco" [chocolate of love] or "Giri-choco" [chocolate of courtesy] on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favor by giving gifts, usually more expensive. Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (literally, "thrice the return") is used to describe the generally recited rule that the return gift should be two to three times the cost of the Valentine's gift.[2]

Stomach bug

I don't know if it was something I ate at the shopping mall food court in Hono, or maybe I shouldn't of used the hotel room's drinking glasses, but I was violently ill.

Some kind of stomach bug which got progressively worse as I flew from Hono to Japan, and then to Korea.

I didn't think I'd have the strength to leave the plane when I reached Korea. I was seriously thinking of being taken off the plane in a wheelchair and being sent to the emergency room.

Luckily my friend Juli met me at the airport and helped me. I only threw up twice walking to the hotel.

Ala Moana

I had a list of all the stuff a I wanted to download, but spent most of the day updating all of the software on my laptop. Some people come to Hono for the sights, I come for the high-speed internet. I don't even think people say "high-speed" anymore, it's all just internet.

I have so many things I want to download, so many websites I want to visit, I don't know where to begin! I guess I should start at YouTube.

I picked the Ala Moana Hotel on Ala Moana Boulevard because it has a land bridge to the Ala Moana Shopping Mall. I figured it would be handy for any last minute shopping needs. All I really needed was Mach 3 razor blades, none of the drugstores sold them.

Salt-N-Pepa have a tv show! Where's that caveman show? So many cultural references to catch-up on. It'd be great to see some "Reno 911" before I bolt for Seoul.

I finally heard that "Deliah" song! I wasn't impressed.

B-2 Flyover

A couple of B2's were practicing dropping things into
the Pacific. The place where I work provides the comms
for everybody, rather, they provide their own comms,
but it all comes together in my shop. Like a big comm
switch.

I didn't take these photos, on Kwaj you'd see just like
you'd see a commercial jet in the air, a speck. But
the people involved in the various missions always
have good photo and video stuff available. There were
two B2's here, one of them crashed at Guam after this
(the pilots ejected ok).

I can imagine if you never saw one before, you'd think it was a UFO!
